It was mainly becuz of the song but video itself where?

lipstick gun? Gaga in falling in sea? Dancing in the electric chapel? What was controversial about it? Maybe her upclose eyebrows that looked strange shocked some of yall?

It can not be controversial to us, but to Christians it definitely is as it uses religious imagery in a way that's not considered appropriate. Anyway, Gaga response to controversies around Judas video: "The only controversial thing about this video is that I'm wearing Christian Lacroix and Chanel in the same frame. This video is not meant to be an attack on religion. I respect and love everyone's beliefs. I'm a religious and spiritual person who's obsessed with religious art. I'm obsessed with it."

I wonder what caused this thread to come to existence :lolga:

My comment of "if the video is controversial it'll get there [100M views] faster" :classy:

If we include this, then yes. This was probably the last BIG controversial video/event.

How was Alejandro controversial? :poot:

Flop fan, sorry guys

Religious imagery paired with nudity and aggressive sexual scenes. Swallowing the rosary while dressed as a nun. Having her dancers dressed up like gay Nazi's. The first major accusation of her being a Madonna copycat. I remember Alejandro even upset some fans here on GGD.
