Teen committed suicide because of Anime.

Suicide should never be blamed on anyone or anything, at the end of the day, you can always find a solution to any problem you have with a thing or person, it is you that is fully in control and obviously if you are committing suicide the fault really is your own for giving up on life, such a selfish thing to blame something or someone else!

Depends on the situation, sometimes other people actually are to blame, at least partially.

There's a picture of his mom holding the suicide note.

I'm sorry but he killed himself because he was in love with a fictional character and he was sad that she was not real? That's messed up and I can't believe that's the real reason. RIP tho.

Also, that doesn't seem to be a suicide note, he's just saying how sad he feels because she's not real and that everything he does is for her.

Yeah I understand that people can do such terrible things which make other people's lives a misery but it is still your own responsibility to look after yourself and get out of those relationships and get away from those people, not to give up on yourself. Everyone has it in themselves to not reach that low point.

What about a kid who's parents best them everyday? This kid also gets bullied at school and the teachers do nothing because they don't care (that happens, trust me, I'm in the American school system). There's not enough evidence for the cops. This is the reality for many young people across America.

Now I'm not saying this kid should kill himself, but would it really be all his fault? We're really gonna fault him for reaching such a low point?

Theres other scenarios as well, let's not shame people who kill themselves and blame it on them. Sometimes life is just too cruel and even tho they shouldn't do it, I don't think it's fair to say it's all their fault.

He is basically explaining how much he's suffering for loving her (Ikaros, the anime character) and how much it hurts to not be understood when she's everything he always wanted. He later wrote that he hopes to meet her one day so they can marry and he can finally see how she gets hot (or horny? Idk ), something he has been dreaming for a while.

Keep in mind that this is a fast translation of a couple of lines from the note.

The series is Sora no Otoshimono (Heaven's Lost Proverty) a harem/ecchi anime (lots of boobs, innocent girls in bikinis and sexy underage girls). Trash in my opinion.

Can I vanish into a cheeseburger pizza?

Well the children should know that its not going to be like this forever and that life always moves on, they can meet new people in their life and seek help if they really want to, I'm not saying peoples situations aren't really difficult and traumatizing but everyone should look for a solution because there is always a way out if it gets hard. This kid looks old enough to realise that his whole life is ahead of him and he can do what he wants with his future in a few years so it is partially his fault. I'm not saying the people who commit suicide deserve to be blamed because they should have control of their own lives even if they want to end it, but to blame their death on someone is such an extreme thing to do which will haunt those people for the rest of their lives, sometimes making them feel unnecessarily guilty, some people unfairly blame others with suicide such as blackmailing people. I know that in some cases its other peoples fault but you have control of your own destiny to some degree and everyone has to do their best to have a happy life. In almost all of these situations there can be a bright outcome.
