Babel 41,434
...the last non-acoustic performance of Born This Way. Last time before that was at the last show of the Born This Way Ball in Montreal. 3 years and 7 months ago. I was listening to Born This Way and suddenly remembered this kinda annoying fact. I'm honestly tired of her acoustic renditions of this amazing dance song. I like them, but she looks so fierce and energetic while performing the studio version, like she's full of joy inside. Here's hoping we see more studio version live performances during the LG5 era of this iconic dance anthem.
SEANGT 5,280
yes! I love the full studio versions of all of her songs. Marry the Night has a special place in my heart, and it makes me sad she will probably never sing the full song ever again Even if my BTW Ball hadn't been cancelled, it would have just been acoustic. Music 15,215
the entire Jingle Bell Ball set is extremely underrated, she delivered and looked incredible. OT: i wonder if she'll perform it acoustically on the next tour!

aaronyoji 2,054
its annoying when she does any acoustic renditions of her songs. every song she chooses doesn't translate to acoustic, it sounds terrible and just shows you how the writing is lacking with those songs i.e pokerface. Let be honest your just another fan that joined because you wanted upbeat bops. Edge of glory, paparazzi, and so many more of her "upbeat" songs sound amazing acoustic. I could agree with you, but thou shalt not smear the holy bop that is Pokerface Yes, I also do love partying in moving houses as seen in that one Bacardi tv ad. How can they not be losing their sh*t with Gaga performing her ass off on stage right in front of them?! I don't understand pineapples, so I don't eat bananas. I've been a fan for years, lately i want mid-tempo, and not even 'bops' but actually thought out songs. not quick easy hooks. its not one or the other, and honestly all her ballad-y songs done acoustically blend together cuz of the chord progressions, throw into the mix songs that have no acoustic value or interesting chords whatsoever i.e pokerface, bad romance, and it just sounds overdone and cheesy. Leeo 2,366
I think BTW is one of the songs that both versions (Acoustic & Studio) are really special. The acoustic version sound so emotional when it takes you to just stare at her + the piano and the whole meaning behind it. I think there are some songs that, for sure, are not so good (Applause, Telephone...) as the Studio and songs like Poker Face sound great but it's not so special. But TEOG, BTW, Paparazzi... I think they're divine if u catch the lyrics and all (Paparazzi sound like it's a giant tragedy nn). Watch Bad Romance being the BTW on LG5 n
