Tbh the #1 is possible, she can do it! Buble's latest release was #1 with 190.000 copies in early 2013, but it was released shortly after the BIG success of the Christmas album... Now he's no popular no more, his latest single didn't reach the Top 75 of ANY COUNTRY. Plus Joanne has streaming.

1. Lady Gaga - Joanne [135.000 units]

2. Michael Bublè - Nobody But Me [95.000 units]

I think it's gonna end like this. At least I hope :poot:

Selling above 100k and having a metascore of 75 is perfectly rational, and absolutely not delusional. c'mon the album is good, is well positioned in the preorders charts... The girl can do it, and if it ends selling 93k in second place with a metascore of 71, it will be ok too.

There's no need to expect the worse all the time. She's happy and confident, why not us?

We all had "realistic" expectations with ARTPOP and PI as well and we can see what that did for us. Having no or little expectations is a great thing to do with certain things in life, not just with Gaga. The end result only surprises you and you aren't setting yourself up for disappointment. It's a great practice that I see many people here not doing.

I hope she will do more promo soon other than snl. Send MR ( or what ever they choice as 2nd single) to radio on monday and peform on some talk shows like fallon, Ellen, GMA, etc during the week. Then go to promote in europe and japan. Also she should do AMA and EMA.

Can't wait for Slayin' in Circles to snatch One Dance's weave and become the most streamed song on Spotify. nails@2x.gif

Over.

We will never have again the blind faith of the pop dominance of Gaga, For me being that pessimistic is like suffering in advance.

I'm confident she will easily take #1 next week and kick ass on SNL. I also love the online mini-series, her own spin on a visual album.

This album is clearly a personal, fan-centric record and I'm glad she's owning that and beginning to promote it in that way. Covering NYTimes and Sunday Magazine instead of like Harpers Bazaar. Her interviews. The imagery.

It won't have a ton of radio hits (although MR will smash Top 40), but at least this era seems TARGETED in that way and now just a pop record that failed. (ARTPlatinum)

I can't wait for the tour.
