I can handle Joanne debuting below 100K, but I won't be able to handle it if it averages below 70 on Metacritic :madge:

I don't see metascore going below 75.

Critics are particularly harsh on her. I see a trend of their reviews talking about her and not focusing on the album.

Lady Gaga - Million Reasons

A-YO won't qualify for this week's chart because it's the second instant grat track

I'm determined to spread positivity in this thread. Since I agree some critics are harsh with her by default, I think Joanne will be received as a very refreshing album by the majority of the media.

They need to release "Million Reasons" as a single NOW. Do they check iTunes charts? How can they be SO DUMB?

I reckon it's in GAGA's side brought by the leak effect and the CHAINSMOKER's mess.. Just gaga letting others do promo pre-release.

Being positive is one thing, but having high expectations is something completely different. Someone constantly telling themselves that Joanne will debut really high and get great reviews is just setting themselves up for potential disappointment and a meltdown. It won't make it happen.

Selling above 100k and having a metascore of 75 is perfectly rational, and absolutely not delusional. c'mon the album is good, is well positioned in the preorders charts... The girl can do it, and if it ends selling 93k in second place with a metascore of 71, it will be ok too.

There's no need to expect the worse all the time. She's happy and confident, why not us?
