I think PI will get way better call-out scores (they probably already have some information on public reactions, hence the stability). It would need to reach 60% familiarity first though the awkward fact that only a week before the album release the lead single has yet to reach 60% familiarity on Gaga's main audience (top40) Applause had 95%+ on top40, rhythmic and HAC!! And PI rising on Spotify does not mean it's a good single choice jusy yet. If it continues to gain in position throughout the week (WW) without playlist effects they can make it an official single imo. For now they should just try and release another promo single and see if it does better. Gaga is giving me the impression that sharing exciting news e.g. album cover/album release date etc etc... is an effective way for promotion because she has 64mil followers and stuffs but it is actually the least effective and boring and lazy way to do promo. I don't usually voice up my opinion here but im really having a serious meltdown here. Fortunately the music WILL be good enough to compensate everything based on the snippets we heard. He failed to make people see the difference between Gaga and other generic pop stars, while Bobby has put much more emphasis on marketing Gaga as a talented, hard-working and authentic star while during Troy she came across as inauthentic, unreachable and untalented for the GP. His whole vision for the future of the music industry was wrong (apps? ) and he failed in getting some of the biggest hits of the decade to get big airplay. He underestimated the long-term impact of controversy and let Judas happen. He knew how to build a global fanbase and how to get sales, but he didn't anticipate the rise of streaming and also underestimated the importance of the artist herself. All of the problems with Gaga's image we often talk about is due to Troy, and under Bobby's management her image has greatly improved. It's also for a large part Gaga being rebellious. After the mess of ARTPOP she doesn't feel like promoting again, but I think that when she's playing for empty arenas for the Joanne Ball she'll realize how (and why!) to play the fame game again.
