Because of his messed up thursday release he will probably debut in the 90's the coming week and then jump into the top ten the next week

Slayage in streaming. I didn't say he was slaying anywhere else. He is streaming at 4 times the level she is. Which you are "comfortable" with. What other term would you use? And by the way she sold 700k+ of ARTPOP if everyone that purchased ARTPOP streamed PI twice a day on Spotify she'd be slaying steaming on Spotify.

why you bring her again. I was just saying that his streaming debut is as huge as it is just cause he had audio commercials that forced you to listen to it on spotify. I mean he still would have good debut without that but nowhere that impressive

The streaming power and sales power of the lead single of an album is probably the best indication of how the entire album will sell and stream. There is always some exceptions but they are exceptions. A killer second single will generate better streaming. I hope the Superbowl will get her streaming numbers up.

Applause did very well on US Spotify. Top 10 for multiple weeks and (iirc) #4 peak.

Gaga was one of the most streamed artists on Spotify from 2009 to 2011.

That's exactly my point until 2011. What the hell happened afterwards? She was one of the pioneers of streaming along with Katy, Rihanna and Bieber. She was huge! What happened?

Thats good. As i said, if we could keep enough requests going in to Kiss92.5 and 104.5 in order to keep the song stable long enough, other stations might pick it up

 

Virgin Radio doesnt take much risk in playing new music most of the time. They only play it once its a known song and its caught on.
