Can't really compare Joanne to Lemonade, because the hype for Lemonade was insane + it was a visual album + it was released Beyonce style.. Formation had an impact, everyone was talking about it since it showed Beyonce as a "black woman" after a long time + it had the highest female debut in 2016 so the sales are definitely there compared to Gaga.
