If the album needed to be finished, why not wait until this past Friday to release PI? It's not like she had any big plans for this single that it needed to be out 9/9 evidently. Charts aside, this rollout has definitely been the worst of her lead singles ever post-JD. It feels boring and uninspired. Yeah I don't understand it all since they've had a long time to plan and prepare the era. The album is finished so you'd think she would be making TV appearances by now and performing PI. And i remember both of the song was still in the top 30 in their second week.
