yeah but I still hope they have booked some performances.. At least for the fans to enjoy the music live before the tour..

mindtrappa: I don't think she's concerned with that right now. She was initially in talks to do both the VMAs and Global Citizen and pulled out of both, so.

With 'Perfect Illusion' going tits up, I'm sure there will be one or two pre-release tracks the week or two before.

A single flopping the label can deal with, but they won't want it to handicap the album too much.

mindtrappa: Their expectations for the single and album are not what you think they are. They're pretty much working this like a debut indie record.

Cue the cries of "Oh so she's trying to be INDIE now?!?!"

mindtrappa: Ha. But seriously. She's been given a lot of freedom here, with the only major label suggestion being that it needs to be universal. Other than that, she has free reign over how it's promoted and how it sounds. They even helped suggest people like Father John Misty, etc. They aren't aching for some massive hit.

so she initially wanted to perform everywhere but out of sudden she decided to go indie :awkney:

Let's all light out Alejandro candles and pray that it's all part of a bigger plot where the first single was ment to flop and be a perfect Illusion to all of us

Amen

Or they maybe thought she has enough hype for single to smash without promo ?

The only logical explanation (for me) is that they were expecting the Applause course for the single. But it also doesn't make sense because WHERE IS THE COMMERCIAL AIRING ON TV.

Idk This is so weird. SIA has had the biggest hit of the summer And She is dropping like Gaga. Ir doesn't make sense.

And I don't want to get more into this, but they better push a global hit because otherwise the tour is going to flop.

i mean i really don't get her. if she doesn't want success anymore why even bother getting radio deal and other stuff. Or they maybe thought she has enough hype for single to smash without promo ?

Apparently they don't care at all about commercial performance. That's okay, but how is she going to keep her fans if Gaga doesn't try her best to stay interesting? A Gaga release is supposed to be eventful imo

hoping they have something in their minds for the album release  I need new Gaga performances, the (LQ) drunk performance at The Moth and the 20sec singing at BBC aren't enough

"I think I know what my wants want"

So she knows and she choose to give us exactly the opposite?

She knows what they want when it comes to music videos, album/single covers and music. Not when it comes to other things equally important to some of us, like performances and fashion.

You know, I can accept the fact that she isn't making big hits anymore, the only thing I'm really anxious about is that I can't see her live anymore. She fell directly out of the top 200 in my country and like nobody is there for her anymore :ohno:

How can she tour if she releases a flop single? In the disco club in front of 3K people? As you want, Gaga

well I don't think majority of stanbase wanted her to go indie. and even when speaking of music video and music, it allienated a lot of stanbase
