Trust me, it's the way to cement her status as a legend! And remember all those legends have had lead singles not chart that high. Gaga is more of an underground artist already 8 years into her career whereas Madonna was having #1 hits from the early 80's to the mid 00's. And you know, there's nothing wrong with being underground. Look at Florence and the Machine. Gaga is a REAL artist. Madonna is good but obviously more of a dancer than a musician. Gaga needs at least another 10 years of success before she's in that class. That's a fact. So yes I agree, we should focus on making this era a success because so far a success it ain't. That's like saying Justin Bieber has surpassed MJ just because his time is over. Madge has a huge legacy and was getting #1's 22 years into her career.
