At about 950k sold. Radio is still adding the song so there is still hope. Cheap Thrills also took a while to take off. Dangerous Woman didn't fall outside the top 10 of iTunes after a week of release sis, in fact, it stayed inside the top 10 for the whole month. The only time it fell out the top 10/20 of iTunes was bc of David/Prince death and during Beyoncé's Lemonade release week. "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body." She's not releasing some tropical sounding track so let's not discuss unrealistic hypotheticals. Up until BTW, her sound WAS definitely trendy. Not generic per se, still with a "Gaga edge", but definitely contemporary. She was actually the one launching/dictating the trend at the time, people tried to copy her sound. It never happened again afterwards. Now, she's definitely smart enough to know what the gp would lap up at the moment or who she should work with to get an easy "hot track", but she's just not playing this game. I'm not saying she wouldn't enjoy being a trend-setter again, and have her musical output connect with the masses again. But it truly doesn't seem to be her priority, looks like she doesn't need chart success anymore to boost her ego...
