Freddy 4,421 Posted September 13, 2016 Share Posted September 13, 2016 I feel bad writing this but I actually stopped caring about this single or tracking anything .Kinda makes me sad since I was really looking forward to it, and tracking Applause rising and staying 14 weeks inside the top 10 was nice... I just CANT see PI becoming a pop hit. I just hope it can reach the top 20 in it's debut week, get platinum (with streams) and reach top 20 on pop and maybe HAC. It might get initial radio support, but it would be foolish to think it will do amazing radio numbers in the long run ... who knows what's going to happen... at least it should give us another 100m video. I dont get why they focused so much on radio interviews on the release week when they literally dont have any effect on the song...and the music video doesn't seem ready. So this was around 6:30 PST/9:30 EST still 5.5 hrs for spins on the west coast. I'd say it ends around 350 Pop spins, and 135 HAC spins. Not bad at all.
