Joanne can be a massive critical succes but it doesnt have sure hits. With the right momentum there are songs that can become huge hits, like John Wayne, but Million Reasons sounds like the best choice for second single. It will not be easy. It will be almost imposibile to create a hit in Europe and Asia with the other songs, but Im loving it. Sinner s prayer is my favorite, but Europe wont touch it.

Dancin In Circle in a sure hit in Europe/US, she needs to perform it at Super Bowl as third single

DH and MR would do fine, I guess, but I think the song with the biggest hit potential is MR.

A-YO is basically confirmed as the 2nd single

Million Reasons was her last chance.....I don't see it doing as good as it could've done as the 2nd single, later if she releases it.

Americano

Wow at them ignoring MR and going with another single.

I haven't listened to the album yet so Idk if this is a bad move. Chartsters-- Is AYO a weak choice?

So I adore the album and it has some catchy songs but really though none of them except for Million Reasons would do well commercially so she better just focus on promoting the entire work of music for the sake of the tour and that's it. And some performances where she can show off her voice. But forget Top 40 music :toofunny:

This is probably why she's doing the Super Bowl. Allow that to fuel a big tour so she can just focus on the whole album.

Except who even knows if MR will get a time to shine..

No it's catchy but it's maybe the pop song with the most country feeling.

Dancin In Circle has a potential hit way higher ala Sorry, Let Me Love You, Lean On... and MR you know it.

I think it has the most hit potential on the album (just heard all of it, couldn't help myself). The rest is far riskier, but I do think DH could be successful too, though. My personal favorites are DIC and Angel Down.

Regarding A-YO's studio version, it has a better instrumental and clearer vocals, but it's pretty much the same as we've heard in the Dive Baar Tour.

First time this era getting angry but seriously A-Yo??? What the funk was the use of these last couple of years reimagining yourself only to release uptempo PI and now A-Yo? Basically the same thing she's been doing since the beginning of her career with some more country vibes...and it's easily the worst song on the album. The GP has shown time and time again they're not here for her typical songs. Release MR and do it justice.

It's like her team has an impression that radio accepts only uptempo songs? Cause I just don't understand their choises...
