Maybe she's simply not rushing things. What do you want for MR? another TEOG video fiasco? MR is performing very well without radio, live performances, or music video, but it was released like 6 days ago, what do you want? if MR is going to be the second single, Gaga and the label need time to figure out what to do.

For once they are no rushing all and running like a decapitated chicken.

No, they shouldn't. Back in 2013 Dark Horse was released as a buzz single of Prism and it performed very very well on iTunes, but they didn't change plans of Unconditionally being second single. Unconditionally doesn't did very well in charts but they stick to the original plans and released Dark Horse when they were ready to, and there was a huge hit performing as well if not better than Roar, and believe me performing better if the Katy's team would have killed Uncle and released DH for Christmass without a plan.

This is a whole different situation. Prism was released when it had a #1 single and heavy promotion and airplay. Joanne is out in a week and it has no single on radio, a flop lead single and no signs of 2nd single or a respectable promo campaign.

Keeping calm is ALWAYS better than rushing everything, being desperate and act without a plan.

Joanne is out in a week in the middle of the dive bar tour, and with a carpool karaoke and SNL planned for the releasing week. I hope there will be more performances and stuff, but this is a respectable promo for me. A lot of albums are released eberyday with fewer promo.

I'm not complaing about promo, Idc as long as the music is good but she needs SUCCESS to tour where I live so she needs promo.

I don't care that much about success, but it's fun to follow the numbers and to see her do well. It would also be amazing to hear a new Gaga song in real life. I don't think I ever heard any ARTPOP song on radio, maybe once in Czechia.

 

It's sad that the promo is cancelled but they want to keep some promo slots left for the superior #1-in-the-making which is C3C  

in all seriousness, I am disappointed that she's not going to promote this week but tbh the UK promo for ARTPOP was a big mess (except for Jingle ball). I would rather she didn't do that again. Quality of promo is important too. Hopefully she does promo in Europe (continental Europe and the irrelevant island next to it) before christmas. I also hope she'll return to Japan.
