I genuinely have to keep reminding myself that Joanne is only TEN DAYS AWAY. And I'm a stan! Goodness knows how unaware the casual music listener is :rip:

The promo she has chosen, or lack thereof, this era has been a disaster, both for the little chartsters and for the monsters who want her to promote just to see her performances and interviews. If she thot radio interviews was the way to gain awareness then hunny I got some bad news :rip:

What numbers are you using? I assumed it would get around 2m US streams + the 27k prediction which would place it around 95. I Hope you're right though!

I used the same numbers. 27k + 2M = 43 points. This means if it was released last week, it would've been #87. This week, it could be higher or lower depending on competition, but still in the 85-90 range. Lets wait for Simm's prediction

What do you think the difference between Joanne's first week pure sales and SPS will be? Some examples:

Dangerous Woman: 46k

ANTI - 42k

Revival - 31k

7/27 - 25k

Glory - 23k

Thank You - 23k

Confident - 21k

This Is Acting - 13k

I think she can easily do 30-40k. Perfect Illusion got 8.3 million streams first week which is only 700k less than what Dangerous Woman (song) got in in it's first week (9 million). That is not too much less

Yeah forget the charts the fashion and performances and everything that made her fun has basically vanished. It sucks.

I don't even care that MR will probably be a hit because even chart success doesn't matter if she's barely promoting and doesn't seem engaged with the album. Kinda sad honestly

:rip: and to see how we lower our expectations with every single era. We're hoping for a top 100 debut now :laughga:

fixed that for you

the updates are somewhat surprising. If she doesn't have a banner next week the single is basically over, though. I think Interscope wants to slowly build hype for the album while testing out how multiple songs perform. They want to see how MR does and how other promotional singles do and possibly wait till after album release week for the next single.

Sad too that even though I think we've finally spotted a hit incoming for her that the era isn't exciting. Feels like a nonevent.

20k at most. All those albums were supported by hits (except Glory which was supported by a discount and massive promo for MM). 8k from tracks and 8k from streaming is my prediction.

then why did Perfect Illusion get more first week streams than all the lead single from those albums besides DW? It didn't even need a video...
