Because she's basically ****ing herself over if she doesn't give it enough time to resonate with the general public. Born This Way did well (the single) on the charts because her team gave the general public enough time to hype themselves up to buy it/listen to it. If she just springs Perfect Illusion on us all friday, It's like receiving an orgasm you weren't expecting, compared to BTW which was her giving us an orgasm we were dying for.
