The show is Absolutely GREAT!  And as someone who was born in the 80's, this show reminds me so much of my childhood.  In so many ways....

Love the show but never really understood all the love for Barb.

I mean she was only on the show for like 2 mins and fans treat her like she's a god. I guess it's her relatability but still majority of the characters were better than her.

Also, I haven't seen anything negative said about this show (through media or in person) until this thread. Y'all are liars if you said it's predictable. I know you didn't guess there was an upside down world, that Nancy would go there by herself and survive, that the agency would try to cover up Will's disappearance with a fake body and many more events/twists.

I mean I even brushed off Nancy and Steve as your stereotype useless pretty girl and jock :laughga:

Girl take a seat. I'm not bitching if I'm just saying I think one kid is annoying. :awkney:

Winona Ryder was great wtfyd? :excuseu:

I agree! She played the grieving mother perfectly. That's an issue I had with the remake of Poltergeist, the parents acted like their child disappearing was nothing, no emotion, no heartbreak, Winona at least plays the part of it. How would a perfect react and almost lose their sanity with lights, the supernatural?

That wasn't even the worse of the many issues of the Poltergeist remake lol

I mean, a mother losing a child is already too much, but to find out that she's probably also being toyed with by government and forces she can't quite comprehend, all while also realizing she herself knows she sounds insane but isn't? I think most critics have also been applauding her performance. :applause:

The movie was crap but I was referring to Winona's performance was indeed spot on if a parent were in that situation. It was how a parent would react on the brink of desperation and insanity. If they want toned down, go look at the Poltergeist remake where the parents acted like they couldn't have cared less. :cryga:
