Luc 4,775
We should hate Donald Trump because of his children? He's not responsible for his adult children's actions. But yes Madge drag them thru the mud!

Should I perhaps kill my pet dog as well whom I love more than anything in the world? What an interesting comment. Only the things we love and care about deserve life. JDi 1,495
in 99.99% of the cases the kill is an animal that was old and sick and already dying from loss of appetite so they're basically not letting it starve to death. and if that wasn't the case, the media wouldn't miss out on a "scandal", you know. the only thing I find really wrong is the feeling of pride that comes along with it. I'm not kidding myself here. it is unethical and ofc they did it for the thrill. so yeah, they're pussies. but what else is new? and what does that have to do with their father running for president anyway? I'm sure there's plenty of vices in the Clinton family too... we need to stop looking for reasons to not support a candidate in their character. it's not like we're voting for a Clinton/Trump clan dictatorship lol

Killing animals for a healthy diet is justifiable because that's just how the food chain works. Killing animals for fun is obviously wrong. We have the ability to "control nature" in the best and worst ways. Humans could wipe out every species on this planet with the touch of a button. But when we have the opportunity to control nature in a good way, why would we NOT do that? Diets in developed countries are anything but healthy. Meat, eggs and dairy are all really bad for humans. The only reason it could ever be considered healthy is for starving populations who don't get enough calories, and that is not the description of the Western World. Just don't want you to think we have factory "farms" for health reasons when it's literally the opposite.

And no I wouldn't kill it. And nowhere did I state that only animals I care about deserve life. Should I kill my dog because I eat meat and therefore I'm a killer? Just because you eat meat you can't think it's wrong? Wild animals risk getting extinct when we pollute the environment to raise billions of chickens, pigs, cows and turkeys to slaughter and eat. And there is no such thing as "sustainably" raised, yet mass produced, meat. You can think whatever you want. Just cause you can think it doesn't make it logical though. I'm also angry at the way animals are treated. If it was easy I'd switch to vegan in a heartbeat. Hopefully my vegan brother will help me get used to the idea of no meat

I've loved animals all my life but it's only when I grew up that I realised how much harm and suffering we are putting them through. I'm not only open to the idea, I want to do it, but I've been procrastinating... I was gonna try to watch some horrible videos of how they're treated in slaughter houses just to push me over the edge but good god I should learn how to cook before I do that.
