But that songs got a sense of humour, this one is supposed to be serious from what ppl have described it as.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

wtf?
if she actually serves lyrics like this..

Mark said her songwriting lately has been "musically pretty deep", he better be speaking lyrically and musically.
i need something honest, personal and relatable.

you've already sung the Solar System Gaga, no need to sing the Calender too.

The solar system is fine with me, but when ppl start singing months or days of the week, I'm out.

Excuse me but 'Is September really here, or is it just a perfect illusion?'

sounds brilliant if spoken in a melancholy tone before the song starts.

It embodies Gaga's disbelief in something, I can't describe how it feels to me but it doesn't sound cringy at all.

Americano

Probably not even real, but if it were.. How can people trash this? Have you never heard Lady Gaga songs? Alejandro isn't necessarily groundbreaking.

For all you know from the lack of context, September could be a metaphor for fall and the end of a relationship or whatever. Calm down.

Then what about "Wake Me Up When September Ends"? I mean I'm not even believing this is legit but if people are gonna trash a song based on one line then damn :toofunny:
