Rediculous to ever expect Mexico to pay for it anyway

How is the US ever to force an issue like that without hurting themselves in the process?

U cant use Military force without concequences in this day and age. And Any military/economic sanction would hurt the US back given that Mexico is the 3rd largest trading partner after China and Canada

But as bad as Peña is, are we really sure that AMLO was a better alternative?

Really? Because the US does that all the time. They'd just need to say the Mexicans are hiding WMDs somewhere in Chihuahua. :emma:

I'm guessing that Trump saying "we didn't discuss the wall", means "I didn't want to discuss the wall, so I ignored what the Mexican president had to say about it".   :rip:

I'm talkin' 'bout forever, baby.

I mean serious military war among Developed or powerful missions

Foot Soldiers and tanks like in Africa and Middle East militant groups using handguns is primative war

If the US went to serious war with a big Nation like Mexico, it would be large bombs and God knows what else in todays era. Bio weapons even?

Simply put, no one dares to start a war like that even if it wasnt a violation of UN, Nato and international law

With Todays technology, even the biggest Military Powers could face serious damage

Not counting the fact that as i said, Mexico is a big trading partner to the US

The US could try the 21st century modern era of war. Economic sanctions are the new big thing. But theyd hurt themselves in the process

case and point, in this century, its hard to force anyone to do anything even if your the US.

America will NEVER be able to force Mexico to pay for any wall.

Sorry for ranting. I just find the whole idea to think they will get Mexicans to pay for it to be an ignorant proposterous one :emma:

Okay. Let me list all the fighter jets, bombers and attack helicopters in Mexico's air force:

Fighter jets:
F-5E Tiger II from 1972... total number, 6 planes (and some of those 6 are 2-seat training versions).

Bombers:
None.

Attack helicopters:
None.

Okay, how about the tanks in the Mexican Army? Um... well, actually they don't have any tanks. None.

So yeah... it would be a pushover. You can't win a modern war without air power.

Compare to Iraq in 1990. Saddam had one of the LARGEST forces in the Middle East.

"In August 1990, Iraq had the largest air force in the region even after the long Iran–Iraq War. The air force at that time had 910 combat aircraft in its inventory. "

He also had 4280-5500 battle tanks. Saddam, 4000-5500 tanks, 900 combat aircraft. Mexico, 0 tanks, 6 fighter jets, 0 bombers.

But of course the US would never invade Mexico. I'm just talking hypotheticals.

Fail. I would of thought a Country of 100 million would have a bigger army than that :rip:

nevertheless yeah, push over or not, it certainly wouldnt be in US interests to do so for too many reasons to list
