Bookmark me. this is what I'm expecting, if it gets in the top ten at all it'll be great. But we literally don't know any of her plans and it could just be a no promo drop of a music video one day and then not much else. I'm not sure if gaga is really even trying to sell this rather than just make good music. She has other parts of her career now. But if i'm wrong and it's a whirlwind of Gaga craziness, I'll be pleasantly surprised! Rooting for this era for sure.

Arizona Sky 10,913
Anyone who says it will debut at #1 is pure delusional. Based on my calculations, she would need 300k sales, 50 million AI, & 25 million streams. We all know this won't happen. Closer still doesn't have a video too, it's getting bigger. My bet is a #10-12 debut
Battle 4 Ur Life 6,713
wow. can we lose some of the negativity? the single is not even out yet. I have lots of reasons to believe it's gonna do great. you should bookmark me. and even if it didn't? who even care about charts? let's just enjoy the music for once, people “Fantastic, chic, freak, slay.”

I also thing they'll be more negativity if people are indenial. No? It'll do good but talking debut week it wont peak.

I also want a successful single and era but it may be a good thing if it doesn't peak right away. it may have more longevity if it takes some time to climb it's way up. example: Cheap Thrills by Sia “Fantastic, chic, freak, slay.”
freebit 6,240
Why are people obsessed with the single debuting at #1? Not even the beast that was Bad Romance did that. I'm personally just hoping it goes top 10, has some longevity, and people give it a chance etc.

ARTGOD 3,266
We shouldn't expect the song to do well right away, remember that Gaga is coming from a very rough last pop era. If anything I want it to debut in the top 20 (based on her name and hype it probably will) and slowly build to the top (given that the song is GP friendly of course), but most of all, i hope it has longevity. BloodyJudas 2,758
Babies, what really matters is the longevity and a long run on music charts. It would not be nice if the song pulled "HIAM" run and debuted at number one only to be out of the game in a couple of weeks. That's why I'm happy Gaga's team hasn't been promoting the **** of out the song that has not been out yet. Applause may not have topped the charts ,yet it had quite a nice longevity. Being a TOP 3 single would still be regarded a commercial success and if the song is really good and resonates with people, it will smash sooner or later Remember ,it's Lady Gaga's lead single ,she STILL has a power She is the force to be reckoned with and I don't think the ARTPOP era was a flop by any means, it might have been an underperformance for Gaga's standards and that's all. Every major pop star has their ups and downs , Gaga is no exception Now it is her time to shine bright Let me remind you that Rihanna's lead single for Rated "Russian Roulette peaked" at numer 9 (if I remember correctly), but then her next era "Loud" was commercially more successful ,spawning 3 number one hits
Killa 17,478
Lill Monsters are pretty desesperate and we are still a huge community. Some older fans will come back if they like the song. I don't know, it might debut higher than we expect. Oh and if she has a great movie clip, the streamings will keep it getting higher. But debut #1 for a single is delusional, it will be a #34 or something like that. Maybe 20's. I doubt it can go to no1, but Top 10 would be amazing, or top5
