And one of the reasons I love Gaga most. Just like a true artist --- particularly a painter, photographer, or (especially) a literary author, she fills her work with symbolism and allusions to prior artists who inspired her. Over the last 8 years she's left us with a massive vault of art to keep mining for symbolism that we have never seen before (some real, some imagined --- reaches, lol).
