Closer is likely to top 220k this week, that's more then any pop girl debut this year. More then Beyonce's Formation, more then Katy's Rise and more then Britney's Make Me. Do you expect Closer to continue selling this well into mid September when Perfect Illusion debuts? And if so, is Perfect Illusion likely to get cock-blocked?

All depends on Gaga's promo tbh. I would be kinda surprised if it didn't go #1 for at least a little bit though.

Also Closer is (hopefully) at it's peak right now so I doubt it will be selling this much by the time PI comes - unless it's literally on Friday

I have a feeling gaga will spedn 2 - 3 days at number one or maybe just a day but stay top 3 for around the whole week. its not really a big deal, i think she'll have all sorts of competition no matter what. This song seems to be the biggest deal for everyone though. Gaga won't be fighting for the top spot her debut week, lets be realistic.
