Why don't people forgive Chris Brown...

...for the Rihanna incident but easily forgave Emma Roberts? Just curious to know. I mean she might be less of a terrible person than Brown as a whole, but the things she did to Evan Peters were awful too: a bloody nose and bite marks.

Do people let go of it easier because it's just Emma Roberts? It's almost like everyone forgot about it...

Brown have repeated offences. So it is altrady differrnt stories between both.

If Roberts did the same, pretty sure she will be exiled too.

True. But I find many people only going against him for his assault on Riri.

What else did he do?

Because his attitude is ****. He acts like a thug. He is on felony probation, this is his one opportunity to fly on the straight and narrow and get his life and career together. So what does he do? He ****s it up -- twice now and counting and he looks like a cracked out mess to boot. This may be the best thing for him.

This picture is why. I don't think there is a single person who doesn't have this photo burned into their brain every time they hear the name "Chris Brown".

Sensitive Material.

Emma Roberts and Even Peters are much, much less popular than Chris Brown and Rihanna, so I don't think they are given that much attention anyway.

Chris Brown's aura screams "Beware: Abusive Asshole."

She looks like a helpless little white girl (it's relevant; not trying to be racist). It's so much harder to picture her being abusive than it is to picture him... and speaking of pictures, that Rihanna picture will haunt him his entire life.

Partially because Emma is a girl and there seems to be a norm, in some cases, that women can hit/abuse men freely. Although I wouldn't say that's completely the reason why people forgave Emma

Wow, that's hard to look at it. It's no surprise that he was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon this time. Abusers always escalate.

On a side note, I'm proud of Rihanna for following through and pressing charges. She sets a strong example for men and women in abusive relationships who often back down out of fear, shame, guilt, dependency, denial, love, rationalization, compartmentalization, or embarrassment. It's the right thing to do. He's a ****ing loser.

Emma was a one-time thing, and it appears as if she learned her lesson and got help.

Chris, on the other hand, has repeatedly committed violent acts like throwing chairs out of windows during interviews. Plus he's a sexist pig, so he's basically a complete asshole while Emma is actually a decent person who made a mistake.
