Country duo Florida Georgia Line is on course for its second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with Dig Your Roots. Industry forecasters suggest the set, which was released on Aug. 26 through Big Machine Label Group, may earn around 150,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Sept. 1.

Dig Your Roots wasn’t the only significant album that dropped on Aug. 26, as both Barbra Streisand and Britney Spears issued their latest studio efforts on the same day. Prognosticators indicate Streisand’s Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway and Spears’ Glory will likely finish the week at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively. (The current No. 1, Frank Ocean's Blonde, may end up falling to No. 4 in its second frame.)

Sources say Streisand’s collaborative Encore set -- which pairs her for duets with actors like Alec Baldwin, Jamie Foxx and Melissa McCarthy -- could earn around 120,000 to 130,000 units. As for Spears’ Glory, it may shift over 100,000 units.

Florida Georgia Line previously led the Billboard 200 with its last album, 2014’s Anything Goes, which launched with 197,000 copies sold in its first week, according to Nielsen Music. Streisand’s Encore is primed to become the diva’s 34th top 10 album. Spears’ Glory would mark the pop star’s 10th top 10 album.

Florida Georgia Line takes the lead for next Friday’s Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) chart. There remains some drama, however, as things look too close to call on the album chart, where FGL and Barbra Streisand (who has a big ticket bundle in play) are separated by less than 5k. Next week’s SPS chart marks the first time in 2016 in which three new releases will debut with over 100k.

Florida Georgia Line (BMLG) 140-150k SPS, 130-135k albums
Barbra Streisand (Columbia) 128-133k SPS, 125-130k albums
Britney Spears (RCA) 105-115k SPS, 90-95k albums

The un-opened title made me think they were going to collab

That would be very interesting

EDIT: scrap that! Gaga, what about LG5 being called "Dye your roots"? :sis:

ATTENTION: (bad) jokes and sarcasm are still a thing, so don't take everything I say literally. Thank you.

Judging everyone who supports Britney, when her fans literally tried to drag Gaga into a grave in 2013. :lana:

I ran so fast, a collab? Is the world finally coming to an end?

Barbra just doens't let go of the damn bone, :firega:. What kinds of longevity, without any Illuminati deal.

Good for Brits
