FRANK1991 3,318
well for one she cut short a lot of songs also this time there's a ton of backup vocals, it made sense since ARTPOP is all heavy dancing but still, I want to hear her voice the stage was disappointing after BTWB's huge castle, the laser lights made it up tho! it was so cool not performing BTW songs was also another disappointment, especially when a lot BTWB U.S. dates were cancelled (like mine) oh yeah the costumes, I think I just prefer Monster Ball and BTWB's costumes Cause once you let it go you better know it's gone

BradP 387
Definitely a great ****ing tour. The lighting alone gave me rave seizures that gave me energy for days - I was behind just one girl at the very front of the pit, the intro video immediately built you to climax, Partynauseous was two minutes of kinetic energy I've rarely experienced at a show before - I felt lighter after that show. worship to the land a girl from the planet
CherryPi3 684
The artRAVE was definitely more of a party atmosphere for me, than The Born This Way Ball. I have a short video from my Dallas date, and tbh I feel like it encompasses the entire party/rave feel of the tour. It was a truly fun experience and I'll never forget it. Gaga Monster 13,001
I saw it and it was amazing but not as good as the Monster Ball GGD Presidential Elections

Bio 23,538
Easily her worst tour. The Fame Ball has a 5% budget and is so much better than the Artrave. Having a runway connecting to several mini-stages is not fresh at all, many had done it in the past. The inflatable thing in the back was kind of ugly and the projections were too faded, you couldn't even see it sometimes. The clear runway looks cool but I'm under the impression they spent too much on that and there was no money left for the rest. The intros and backdrops were tragic and don't even get me started on the choreography.
Delulu Rogers 7,042
I loved the artrave. Maybe cause it was my first gaga concert but i agree that is was very underwhelming compared to the BTW ball which i didn't even go to. A lot of the costumes looked cheap and the interludes and choreo were lacking. The order of the songs seemed random and there was no plot or storyline to go with the tour. I love it mainly because it's her best tour vocally and the whole stage desgin too.

There is a reason that the general consensus here is the epic Monster Ball was the quintessence of what makes a modern classic concert tour. I have to wonder if some of you even saw her live performances in-person back then. She moved and sang and performed like a legend. The Born This Way Ball wasn't far off either, it ramped up on the production but I feel a little of energy and authenticity and edge was lost. Bradley 57,816
doesn't have crazy intense choreo. What?

I'm sorry but neither Britney nor Rihanna had a stage as amazing as the artRAVE in recent years. Let's not even mention the B-list singers like Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj who obviously have worse stages. artRAVE had a high quality stage, period.
