artRAVE = Underrated

I really enjoyed the artRAVE when I went to see it. The best thing about is that there were no bad spots (in arenas - poor Japanese monsters). Audience interaction was still good, but there were some obvious mistakes. Why not light up the audience at the LMZ section when the 'Venus!' with all the V's in the air for example. How it went from TeoG to Judas was tragic, DOPE was a real downer for a bright night. Swine and Donatella tho >>>>>>>

That's the only bad thing about the show for me, that setlist was so so bad :saladga:

I think the problem was that the ARTPOP songs are more difficult to play live with the band, instead of her old songs

The order of the songs was weird, I mean. And why on Earth did she open the show with ARTPOP? And closed with Swine? :awkney: The only good thing was the encore being Gypsy.

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

also it's too high.

the stage? have you attended the artRAVE yourself? its height was perfect: you could dance under it but you also had a nice view without having to stretch your neck. i stood in front of the main stage, next to the catwalk, was 3rd row, and it was the perfect spot.

if you hurt taylor swift, i'll hurt you back

still not as good as the other tours :nails:

Everything from the ARTPOP era was good, but weak compared to what she had done before.

Well, I like the ARTPOP intro, but i HATED the Edge/Aura/Judas/Sex/Jane/Alejandro mess

that wasn't my point, tho.

plus, if you think of the sidewalls of the monster pit (they were high as ****), you can easily find a few mistakes regarding the execution of the BTWB as well.

I think the best parts of the show were ARTPOP+G.U.Y+Donatella and Partynauseous+Paparazzi+DWUW, other than that, it was pretty underwhelming compared with her previous tours.

few mistakes

That's an understatement :emma: The BTWB was my favorite tour and (arguably) her best tour but it had a LOT of flaws, lol

i can't think of anything else; besides, i had EE and was in the LMZ, meaning around the catwalk, and i had a perfect view. i pretend it was perfect. :poot:

It's true, it literally has the same quality and flaws of every one of her past tours. People say the stage and the outfits were cheap and weird and it was too electronic and stuff. THE SHOW WAS LITERALLY CALLED ART R-A-V-E.  What were people expecting? ARTPOP was a messy era but ARTPOP itself isn't that shitty album that everybody says and artRAVE isn't the horrible show that everybody says, don't let the chaos that the era was affect the perception of the material we were served.

I always say that I am done explaining to people that ARTPOP isn't the scum of Earth but I always find myself doing it

AMEN!

I actually think it was better than the Born This Way Ball, which was way too long and tried too long to have a big plot
