LilMonst3r 5,448 Posted August 29, 2016 Share Posted August 29, 2016 Why is it that when Lady Gaga became the most nominated artist in vma history and when she also became the first female artist to have to video of the year nominatins for "Bad Romance" and "Telephone" she was not invited to perform. Beyonces performance was like 15 minutes long. She had a lot of nominations and she is about to become the Artist with the most vma awards. I could see why she deserves a performance cause she is about to be the star with the most vma awards. I loved the performance though its just not fair. Gaga's album and singles were massively succesful, Naomi mentioned her tour was really succesful right now so was Gagas back then. What excuse did they make when they didnt ask gaga to perform? To those also who think she was offered she wasnt. She said she normally wouldnt go to award shows if she not performing but she went anyways. I forgot why she said that she still went im guessing cause she was the most nomiated artist ever. That year was the most watched award show since 2002 btw. It doesn't feel like the VMAs, its not even about Britney's performance. It just reminded me of the iHeart Radio Awards in April. No one watches, its very structured and very un original. Yes omg the camera work was horrible this year during beyonces performamc and a bunch of other artist you sometimes could barely see them. JustifyMyLove 2,593 Posted August 29, 2016 Share Posted August 29, 2016 Well Gaga was filming AHS in the first place, we're not sure if they asked her in the first place to attend + perform or only attend etc But it's obvious Gaga is never gonna perform at some awards like this, having a minor role, like Rihanna performing too much time and Beyoncé breaking the record of longest performance, like her apareance would be minimal, and I know/everyone knows she never attends to these awards where her performance is gonna look so small and so minimal budget So good for her Now we gotta see if she's attending the EMAS this year, since they're in November and probs at that time she must have released LG5 yet (as I am guessing she isn't gonna wait too much this time for the difference of time between single and album release, or even release it the same day since everything seems like finished and she did the works w the producers one by one and not overlapped) so anyone stop meltdowning and wait till the releases of everything happens and the awards and stuff will come Julia Volkova #1 stan Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I could say Beyonce had her vangaurd moment 2 years ago. She basically did it again this year outstaging Rihanna with that 15 minute performance.
