She gave MTV an iconic performance in 2009, and two other very good performances in 2011 and 2013, but yet, I feel like they don't really appreciate her. It would be nice if she performed in her hometown at MSG, her favorite arena, but the VMAs don't deserve her. The whole show is going to be disastrous, and their ratings will be even more disastrous. The ratings are probably going to rise in comparison to last year (they were very low), so ppl will perceive it as a success.
