Hasn't has an international hit in 5 years and still thinks it's Beneath her to just sit in the audience of an award show. Her stubbornness knows no bounds...reminds me of that time she was in town for the carol king tribute then flew straight out again the day of the actual Grammys...rather than going through the torture of putting on a nice dress and presenting an award like 99 percent of the music industry. Why would she want to sit in the audience all night for nothing? Since she's based in LA for her current music and acting projects she'd have to fly across the country just to sit there. These award shows can go on a long time, so I can't blame any celeb not wanting to go if they don't have to. Some of the nominees themselves didn't even show up. Intergrity is very important, as an artstist from a big record label, and to have success she has stepped on it a few times, at least let she should be able to be able to be true to herself in some aspects. And she has been part of the audience of award shows, and that kind of event before. The truth is, it doesn't suit her very well. She either is owning the night or she better not appear at all. You might think it aids her campaign, but it depends on what she's on about. Who do you even think you are?
