Mr. Sanders unveiled late Wednesday the launch of Our Revolution, a campaign organization aimed at promoting progressive issues, by picking a fight with the Colorado Democratic establishment over the state’s hotly contested single-payer health care ballot initiative.

He endorsed Amendment 69, known as ColoradoCare, even though top Democrats have mobilized against the sweeping $25 billion universal health care proposal amid fears that it will drag down Democratic candidates in November

 free healthcare is the way to go. Southern provinces have a high amount of migration and thus their population isn't really ageing. There's no good excuse to have no universal healthcare and the left wing of the Democratic party should push forward their ideals.

People don't want to pay so much in taxes...that's the problem. 

They should just wait until after November, as the Dems do have a chance to at least even it up in the Senate and get more seats in the House. 

Colorado would be a good place to start, as they are unlikely to bankrupt their city/state services and there aren't so many people who would be hurt by a temporary shift in money in services. It is a good testing ground, but the real test will be states with high numbers of compromised populations.

We pay more with the program we have now though & Bernie doesn't believe in raising taxes on regular folks just people who make $250,000 or more in increments

I don't pay the tax rates that countries with universal health care have and the increase in taxes would be far more than I pay for healthcare. That's the case for the majority of people. 

I don't care what Bernie "believes in" when looking at taxes. The truth is the tax rates will increase for everyone above the poverty line and the most compromised will suffer due to state funds being pulled from important programs. 

A slow, state by state trial will be a good way to see if it can work without tax increases that are too much in a trade off. The other problems to watch for is diminished services to the most compromised populations...that wouldn't be a good trade off either.
