The Success of "Uptown Funk"

I just did the week to week performances of "Uptown Funk" on the Billboard Hot 100 and it looks like this may be the song of the 2010's. The "One Sweet Day" and "We Belong Together" of this decade. While i've seen songs with longer longevities (though this is still very long) the amount of weeks its spent at #1 AND the Top 10 is crazy. At the end of 2014, Billboard ranked "Party Rock Anthem" at #1 of the decade, but it looks like "Uptown Funk" will take over. (But LG5 is still coming)

It was/is a massive song.  Just imagine if Gaga can come anywhere close to it's success.  I have high expectations.

Mister Gaga

I'd die tbh. Uptown Funk was massive. It was literally everywhere.

I guess it was overplayed, it really is catchy especially when I first heard it since this generation has yet to be introduced to Funk. ALso you can play it around your parents which is rare these days, with songs like Work and Panda charting @ #1 :derpga:

I don't dislike the song but it has been super overplayed that I don't even listen to it, not even when it came out. I didn't even need to download it because it was everywhere. Not to mention Bruno Mars' voice, he's everywhere all the time as well. I'd take Uptown Funk as the song of the decade over Party Rock Anthem anytime though.

The one that really destroyed my ears is Sugar. I just don't even listen to Maroon 5 anymore. I'm 100% done with Adam Levine's voice.
