I say she is most definitely over, as far as commercial success goes. She clearly still has enough Vevo subscribers and viewers to tide her over for a while, though (seriously, every single video of hers has been Vevo certified, even that unknown song she made for The Peanuts Movie). But I have no idea why all these fans clearly aren't buying her music if they like watching her videos so much. So maybe she's an artist that's streamed more than bought. I knew the industry made a big mistake treating her as more than a one hit wonder when it was so blatantly obvious that she was going to fade away after her debut. The music industry needs to stop signing artists like this and giving them false hope when they're clearly just going to see their dream shattered in the not too distant future.

She should never have changed her style of music. Hopeless Romantic and Just A Friend To You are the only songs that sound truly like something that could've come from her debut. Everything else is just mediocre urbanised pop and it doesn't suit her. She also had really bad styling this era that made her into something that she's not (the look she had in NO with being stuffed into a corset and a Bacofoil cape was tragic) and her international promo has been non-existent. It wouldn't surprise me how she's ended up like this after hiring Troy as her manager. Gaga cut him loose for a reason.

MT went #2 on iTunes w/o a discount.

Spotify is what drags her down

This is surprising, because she's on the radio like every single time I'm in the car.

MT peaked with less AI than New Romantics

She's over. That's what happens when your debut hit is nothing but a novelty song with gimmicky lyrics.
