Lion Heart 15,041
NEW YORK — It's Donald Trump like he's never been seen before. Life-size naked statues of the Republican presidential nominee greeted passers-by in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and Cleveland on Thursday. They are the brainchild of an activist collective called INDECLINE, which has spoken out against Trump before. In a statement, the collective said the hope is that Trump "is never installed in the most powerful political and military position in the world." A statue in Manhattan's Union Square quickly drew the attention of people before it was removed by the city's parks department. Groups of people took pictures with the statue and other shouted anti-Trump statements, according to NBC New York. The effigy was removed by park department workers around 1:15 p.m., according to the station. The NYC Parks Department told NBC New York in a cheekily written statement that, "NYC Parks stands firmly against any unpermitted erection in city parks, no matter how small." http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/naked-donald-trump-statues-pop-cities-across-u-s-n633901 Pics of statues are all over Twitter ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

Born To Slay 10,996
The body shaming of Trump is really annoying at this point. It's making me feel bad for the guy, I'm a liberal, that's not supposed to happen.

Normally I agree but Donald makes a career of talking about other peoples bodies (mostly women) as well as bragging about his own penis. So I'm fine with a little jab back at him. 💚💛💕❣⭕💢💢 | ⓜⓔⓡⓡⓨ ©ⓗⓡⓘⓢⓣⓜⓐⓢ

They don't need this crap. They're already more susceptible to depression, self harm, drug use, etc. Donald Trump can be defeated thru sound argumentation. We don't need to insult people with small dicks to defeat him. As far as his body shaming goes, calling him out for that would be better then doing it back every day in the media. That only validates the beauty standard. When we should be making it clear its arbitrary and doesn't hold any relevance.
ALGAYDO 35,052
Call my a hypocrite but I'm a-ok with this even tho I'm totally against body-shaming. Trump, like, kinda deserves it

Did they allow the statue? I don't fault the artist more then anyone else who hopped on the body shame Trump bandwagon, I just think it stop. The only victims are innocent people with body issues that now have to see and hear this everywhere. I agree, let's not stoop down to his level. The beauty standard (for both men and woman) is beneath us in 2016. We say looks don't matter because we were born this way. Let's act like we believe what we say. Constantly making fun of his penis size in the media can't be good for other small people.
