Actually yesterday I was watching the MTV channel on TV and they were showing some promo for the vmas and then after a short ad with the photos of gaga, britney and nick jonas. I couldn't film it because it was super fast but i'm not lying. Are they just using her as a promo for themselves or is there smth else?

for real? Britney and Nick are performing but what is Gaga doing there?

I really don't know I was surprised by myself. It was a photo at a japan airport  sorry the photo is not uploading but if you remember she is wearing a green jumpsuit in 2013

I know but why would they use that one? maybe they will announce her today or something

Well, if you say it like that, it's true... But also, don't you think the VMAs need her? of course they do because they know they will attract a lot of monsters who will spam the show, who will watch it etc.. Especially now that she announced her single after 3 years.

So there are pros and cons, but I would say that if she doesn't have a clear concept for the performance, if it's not "perfect" by Gaga standards, then don't do it. Don't perform just to perform. That's my opinion.

Who knows but don't wanna hype myself very much why would she release the single in september and perform it much earlier at the vmas .

Isn't unfair to use her just to watch the vmas though but anyway i get it its a music industry and thats how bussiness works but i agree if she hasn't a clear idea for the performance then don't do it.

You just want to be a part of yet another crowd so you don't feel so lonely. Gaga IS a much bigger, more talented, deeper, more complete ARTIST than Beyoncé, and much more human and willing to take chances too. That fact alone should be enough to explain why it doesn't matter if Beyoncé goes or not to the VMA's. If Gaga doesn't think it feels right to go, she has every right and legitimacy to choose not to go. I'll support whatever decision she makes as long as she keeps her artistic integrity.

She doesn't necessarily need the VMA's to be on top again. It certainly would be a massive promo boost, but is there something more productive she could be doing with that time? I think that the VMA's is dead at this point tbh and it is definitely not the platform it used to be unless you want to shock for the sake of shock (see Miley Cyrus), which just isn't how Gaga is and now that her style has calmed, do you actually think she would make that much of an impact? Probably not.

Beyoncé is not '10000000000000000 times bigger' than anybody.

to be completely honest lady gaga is amazing I mean amazing like a saviour to pop music , and she was probably the biggest artist going in 2010 like bigger then Beyoncé and all etc, this is true and there is NO DENYING it , since born this way and ARTPOP people started to dislike her music in away and it's not because of the way the music is written or the way it is , it's just the fact she was working with not so good producers , sure DJWS done good songs for ARTPOP and still to this day or good but she should of got on-board with someone who knows how to create what the GP wants put at the same time make it relate to her , max Martin and redone and producers like that know how to produce an album and am sorry for ranting but I generally do believe that when she releases perfect illision people will start to like her again because there's no denying that marks an amazing producer , but to answer your question the VMA's don't deserve for not nominating ARTPOP but at the same time she needs the promo for people to HEAR that her new music is amazing

Practically she can´t be at Vma´s. She won´t have her single released before the 28th of August...or at least the day after. Next stop ...........Apple Music Festival 2016.
