The problem is that we worry about charts more than she seems to do. Maybe we should just sit down and stop all the meldowns about the VMAs?? Ronnie 6,011 Posted August 20, 2016 Share Posted August 20, 2016 All of the performances at the Grammy's, the Oscars, etc. were catered to the specific award show stages they were performed on and are not appropriate for her traditional artwork. The VMAs are in fact a perfect match for Gaga. Shock Pop was her shtick and if she tries to rid herself of that then she's killed the very reason we all fell so madly in love with her. She needs to stay fearless and continue to be brazen. The VMA stage is one of the very few, if not the only places she can get away with a true expression of herself. She didint promote because there was no need after iconic Paparazzi perfomance, people were still talking about that perfomance and she was the hottest thing in the world back then, she was her own promo when bad romance was released and it was released in october so... But yeah, if she's aiming for commercial success then she should perform there. Meh I don't know what to think.
