I'm really excited because of the producers that are working on the album, I want her to experiment with the kind of sounds that Tame Impala do, that's a direction I see her taking and I'd love it. I feel like we're gonna get that. The description of "Perfect Illusion" i think gives clues about what the rest of the album might be about - which is a collection of songs about her life and people close to her. The sound of the album will have one core vibe, but each track will still sound different from each other.

That's exactly what i wanted her to do, to show her feelings and her experiences through her music in a relatable way, I think we're going to be really surprised with this project, can't wait to hear the contributions of every producer. That's what she wants to do, starting with LG5. I cannot wait.
abductee 162
Dead Petz really was a great record musically, it's a shame Miley's antics and uh... personality overshadowed it. For instance Doo It had an incredible instrumental but the lyrics were... not on the same page. I'd be really happy to hear some similar sonic things on LG5, just in a more condensed and succinct manner.

Bok 267
I really wanted to like Dead Petz but someway through the only song I liked was the single 'Do It!'. That's because there weren't any other feasible content for non-fans to promote the album. I think if she's ever gonna do an experimental album A) she has to go the Charli XCX way and go full-speed Futuristic (Vroom Vroom) B) go the Bjork way and experiment with sound, technique and naturality I believe TIHTY was the most personal that she can get. I think it's hard when you're pouring out your soul and create something 'experimental', you need to have a some-sort of distance from the work so you can deform it and explore something new. I thought that ARTPOP was gonna be like the experiment album that she will find different ways to explore digitality of music, it failed. Then she went FREAKKKKKKKING BASIC for years afterwards. Gush that was... really- horrible.

I don't know why everyone wants her to make bad romance 2.0. If that's the music you want then listen to that album and not the new one. It's not fair to throw an artist in a box. Bad romance 2.0 already happened, it was called Judas, and somewhat schieße too, except they aren't as good as BR, so I agree with you that she needs a fresh sound. I haven't listened to dead petz in its entirety, but a lot of songs sound too incongruent and dissonant to Gaga fans, let alone the GP. Maybe one or two of those kinda songs on the album would be nice, but not the whole thing. But I think it's still best to have Gaga do whatever she really wants to do, which usually brings the best of out people.

I don't think she had put time, if she even had any during her therapy time, into exploring and refining the sounds and lyrics. There are chorus melodies that I think she really could have worked on further, like swine Donatella MJH GUY sexxx dreams j&d, they're still good songs (maybe not jewelsndrugs) but they had so much more potential
