A source also said that Katy had indeed bought the #1 position for 'Rise'. Anyhow, Katy promoted her song, released teasers, released a video and audio. 'Rise' was also a song for the Olympics and got promoted for free whenever it was played at the Olympics. Then comes Gaga. She was quiet and disappeared for 3 years after ARTPOP was unsuccessful (it wasn't a flop ). She then starts dropping hints and entering and leaving studios. Suddenly she announces her new single called 'Perfect Illusion'. Suddenly everyone is going crazy and Gaga (rises ) to the top again. Gaga beats Katy by a mere announcement as 'Perfect illusion' trended #1 WW (Just like its future chart position). While Katy is sobbing and crying, Gaga is enjoying her return.
