Morphine Prince 109,654
US Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has said that he would enact "extreme vetting" of immigrants. In a speech in Ohio, the candidate outlined his plans to combat Islamic extremism, including a new screening test for arrivals to the US. Applicants will be tested to determine if they share Western liberal values, such as religious tolerance. Citizens from some countries will not be issued visas but it is not clear which nations will be banned. The hotel developer also pledged to work with any nations willing to help the US defeat the so-called Islamic State (IS). The billionaire has revised his plan throughout his campaign, after initially proposing a blanket ban on all Muslims in December 2015. The latest proposal includes creating an ideological test for immigrants entering the country, with questions addressing how each applicant views American values such as religious freedom, gender equality and gay rights. Mr Trump also welcomed alliances from any country that shares the mission to destroy "radical Islamic terrorism," regardless of other ideological beliefs. Luc 4,776
Agreed, in theory. Which immigrant would be dumb enough to say 'kill all gays' on such a test however?
Whispering 18,865
Does Trump really not know that this propasal is in direct opposition to the First Amendment of The Bill of Rights of our Constitution? Brooke Hoegan 1,018
Well, it's impossible to do. They could lie in this test easily. But let's not pretend we should let people who want to kill gays, beat women and kill non-believers into the civilized world. If you are ready to accept the rules, you're welcome. If you want to live your way and affect other people's lives negatively - stay and rot in your hell.

No, no it's not. What does screening immigrants have to do with any of this? "I am the world's greatest person that does not want to let people into the country."—US President Donald J. You're obviously very smart which makes me question how you could think for a second that he'd be an ok president OT: This is stupid honestly. You think some ISIS operative will come through customs, be stopped, and asked "Are you coming to this country with religiously driven malicious intent?" and say "Oops, you got me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ foiled again ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'll get you next time, America, and your little Trump too ¯\_(ツ)_/¯" all it'll do is give people the feeling of being unwelcome the second they land inside our borders and that's the last thing we need - more angst and tension.
