A star-studded list of supporters has been announced for a fundraiser Aug. 19 in Hollywood, Calif., to honor the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting, and to help raise money for a memorial at the site of the massacre.

Lady Gaga, Ellen Degeneres, Cyndi Lauper, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas are all listed on an invitation to the event. President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are also on the list.

"The cause is the focus. But all are household names," said Jason Felts, CEO of Virgin Produced, in an email. Felt is on the board for the new non-profit onePULSE Foundation that is organizing the event.

Felts said the lineup for the event is still confidential, but the list on the invitation was a giveaway.

OT: If there ever was a date in August for a lead single it was always gonna be August 26th let's be real here  although I'm still more inclined to believe it's coming in the first half of September
