High King

I was expecting a lot more based on the singles and promo songs, but those are the best songs on the album, along with the title track and Imaginary Friend.

I still think it's a good album and I still love Tove Lo, but I was expecting it to be better.

Not trying to be a killjoy or anything, but this album's got 77 of metacritic. :nails:

When will Joanne?

I feel like Lady Wood is more cohesive and consistent and written better than Joanne but that's just me  I think the 'real instruments ' on joanne kind of hide its flaws a little, but they're both amazing albums nonetheless

I can't get into it

It's a solid album but I don't think any of the songs have that power like Timebomb, Moments, Thousand Miles etc.

WTF Love Is is my favourite but I'm hoping it'll get better. I feel empty

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

Flashes & Keep it simple are very QOTC

I like it but I don't love it. I don't know if I'd rate it a B- or a C+ but I can't help comparing it to TS and QotC. Like there's nothing bad on the album but it doesn't hit the highs that QotC's did. So like if you break it down there's nothing as subversive and idk overall as amazing as Habits. As experimental and outside the box as Timebomb. As raw and emotional as Way That I Am. As funny and quirky as Like 'Em Young. Keep It Simple is lyrically as close to QotC but nothing in it fits together. The lyrics, the productions, the lack of real emotion. I will say this tho I listened to the radio for the 1st time in a long time. Top 40 for maybe hour and a half. An iHeart stream and this is as good if not better than the mostly garbage I endured.

Where's Fairy Dust? Does she realize that it's Halloween?
