Noah 26,981
I Wish: Xtina Baby It's Cold Outside: Xtina Imagine: Gaga Sound Of Music: Gaga You've Got A Friend: Tie New York: Gaga The first two Songs really compliment Xtinas Voice, her melismas and runs are really great. Baby It's Cold Outside is obviously sung better by Xtina because she got a more soft and sensual tone. Imagine and Sound of Music have been sung better by Gaga because she's way more trained and way more technical. You've Got A Friend was a tie for me because the Song just doesn't give that much room to show technique etc. New York was WAY better by Gaga because she knows her Jazz and her technique also her tone sounds really lovely here. ⟡ ⋆ ˚。⋆🦢⋆ ˚。⋆⟡
REALITY 77,462
I Wish: Gaga Baby, It's Cold Outside: Christina Imagine: Gaga Climb Every Mountain: Gaga You've Got A Friend: Christina New York: Gaga Both of them have incredible voices, obviously, but technically speaking, there was just some songs that worked better for each one of them. Christina's voice is very aggressive and forceful, that's what she's known for, so a song, like Imagine, wasn't the best for her because the song's delicate and is suppose to feel calming and relieving. Baby, It's Cold Outside though: Christina won that hands down. Her voice was perfect for that song. New York, on the other hand, was definitely fit for Gaga. As we all know, she's not only a huge lover of jazz, but also practices and performs jazz, so that was really a no-brainer. alaska5000 752
Christina has a better voice, Gaga has better technique. They actually have strangely similar voices though, after hearing them back to back.

QueenGaga 3,447
Gaga is holding back her voice in all the performances whereas Christina is openly singing, with all her voice. Both sound so similar tbh. Anyhow I want a Gaga and Xtina collab!

They are both extremely talented, but I do not see Gaga on Xtinas level as far as vocal agility. Christina has perfect control over her falsetto and can perfectly transition, if she's warmed up. Gaga doesn't have that flexibility between falsetto and chest voice yet - but once that comes - Gaga is far above others and close to Whitney. ⟡ ⋆ ˚。⋆🦢⋆ ˚。⋆⟡

GaGa's mid range belts are already on the level of Whitney Houston though. Which that's the majority of the entire song.
Nino 12
@Noahhh I sadly don't think GaGa will ever be able to control her upper register or even mix well though. X will always have an advantage there. The only performance I can think of off the top of my head where she had a good mix ever was The Sound of Music tribute. I think, the reason why most people underestimate Gaga and her Vocal talent is because of her 'ugly' tone. Actually it's quite dark and dramatic, which makes her lows seem more full. Christina has a lighter voice usually (speaking) which makes her low vocals seem less full. I still want Gaga to explore her falsetto more. ⟡ ⋆ ˚。⋆🦢⋆ ˚。⋆⟡
