The quality and cultural impact from her TFM videos ALONE are higher than most of her contemporaries videography. Anyway, I think they give this award to singers who have been around for a while. She hasn't released a massively popular video since 2011. She hasn't even released a proper video in 3 years. Meanwhile Rihanna has been pumping videos out consistently. Gaga will get there, but she's been too dormant lately to get this. Here's hoping she opens the show though.
