Commercial Success doesn't equate to talent. Sorry, but it's the truth. If you really think Brittney is above Beyonce in the talent department,  you obviously know nothing about talent. I believe Britney is more talented than her rivals Katy and Beyoncé, she has a nice voice and she can dance better than the two combined in my opinion, she is the queen of cool. And I can compare her accomplishments to people who dont have as much work as her because credit to Britney for having such a hugely iconic discography beyonce has been round longer but cant be bothered to make as much music, Britney made it on her own also. And no need to be so insultingly defensive.

Britney is highly iconic, yes, but I believe that Beyonce is simply more talented.

I don't even know why you put Katy and Beyonce in the same boat considering the fact that Katy doesn't even compare to what Beyonce is as an artist and a performer. 

Beyonce has far better vocals and her dancing is superior compared to Britney who has gotten sluggish over the years

Ok I respect your opinion, I agree that beyonce is more talented than Katy Perry, but I think Britney is still a better dancer than Beyonce and I much prefer her choreography I prefer to watch Britney dance than Beyonce I think she looks cooler, I respect beyonce aswell I'm not trying to discredit her, its just my taste I guess.

Madonna has a radio ban by most stations in the USA and UK because they deem her "too old". It's even been reported by various news outlets, it's not some made-up bogus. Google it. Even with that enormous ban, taking away her opportunities to chart high for a sustainable amount of time, she makes it work.

Unfortunately, airplay is still what makes a "hit" a "hit" so she finds other ways to promote her music. At least Bitch I'm Madonna got VEVO certified last year. She's one of the few artists (and the only woman) in the world to have hits charting in 4 different decades. She's the highest selling female artist of all time and the highest grossing solo artist of all time. Just because the media creates an entire "she's old, she shouldn't be a sexy popstar anymore" image around Madonna, doesn't mean she isn't popular. She might not be viewed by most teenagers as "cool", but a lot of teenagers LOVE Madonna. Her audiences always include loads of teenagers and 20 something year olds.



Anyway, you are taking about charts, which are dead. Music doesn't sell anymore in general. Unless you are Taylor Swift or Adele and can create a HUGE hype, artists are hoping to do a cult-album like Beyoncé did with her latest two or make a good, non-commercial album that features one massive hit so the record company can take some coins (Rihanna's ANTi). Rihanna also had a third party deal with Samsung to ensure her sales before the album was even finished. 

So let's see where real money is made for today's biggest music superstars... You guessed it! Concert tours! Here's a quick comparison of B & M's last three tours:

Britney's total gross for the Circus Tour: 97 shows - $131.8 million ($145.37 in 2016 dollars)
Britney's total gross for the Femme Fatale tour: 79 shows - $68.7 million ($72.27 in 2016 dollars) 
Britney's total gross for her current Vegas residency so far: 175 shows (so far) - $85,305,774. (so far)

Madonna's total gross for the Sticky & Sweet Tour: 85 shows - $408 million ($450.02 million in 2016 dollars)
Madonna's total gross for the MDNA Tour: 88 shows - $305.2 million ($314.58 million in 2016 dollars)
Madonna's total gross for the Rebel Heat Tour: 82 shows - $169.8 million

So as I'm sure you can see and comprehend, Madonna's clearly ahead. When it comes to actual money, not the $0,00001 dollars artists make per YouTube/Vevo stream or the $0,00000002 dollars they make per Spotify stream... When it comes to the good money, that keeps all of them rich (outside of endorsements), Madonna is clearly winning. Way ahead of Britney. Fewer shows, way more money.

Madonna's been in Forbes best-paid women in Entertainment list since 1990, consecutively. That's 26 years.

So there is NO denying. I love Britney, she is an iconic popstar. But she is not very involved in her career, isn't even the big hitmachine she used to be and is simply a Louisiana girl that loved to sing and dance with a really pushy family and record label. Madonna has never been in the fragile mental state Britney's often in and has always remained a tight grip on her career, from the very start. Madonna's (mainstream) career has been going for over 34 years. Best selling, highest grossing, best charting female artist of all time. Highest grossing solo artist too. No one else comes close. Beyoncé is the only one that can name her name in the same sentence as Madonna right now. In order to be "The Queen", quality albums and moments need to happen. Britney has been barely involved in the RECORDING of her last 4 albums, let alone the promotion of it. I love Britney and she's a trooper and an ICONIC superstar, but she is not "the Queen of Pop" and I don't even think SHE wants to be.
