I can't believe people like ARTPOP more than The Fame. Bye y'all tbh

I think Its because many early fans of the fame are no longer monsters, and many of the monsters on this site started following gaga in the middle of the 2012/2013

that HAS to be a reason, if its not then.... :toofunny::toofunny::toofunny: Interesting opinions, I guess.....

I remember asking my mother to buy me The Fame Monster CD which also included the Fame, I loved it, but I feel as she makes music, it gets better. Also, the fact I saw the artrave might give me more of a reason to love ARTPOP because it holds a special place in my heart as it was, the best night of my life.

I think ARTPOP is the most profound experience I have ever had with music and I feel that people don't really understand the creativity behind it because they don't really know what a Psychedelic experience truly is but what I can say that for me and friends that don't even really listen to Lady Gaga it was so magical because we have actually dissected this album during one of our LSD trips and when you put it together it makes sense how a masterpiece it truly is. When you listen to Aura you can really feel the beat as an acid drop type of groove and well HELLO Infected Mushroom did produce the song along with Zedd. Venus is about this hippie Goddess which infact portrays psychedelic culture from the 1960-70s and it sorta feels like that New Age movement with Alien Gods and Goddesses bringing spiritual enlightenment with the foundation of Peace and Love and of course it has that greek mythology spin to it which then transcends into G.U.Y. where the video even depicts the actual theme to being under the influence of psychedelics, all the symbolism represents all those thing, that vivid lighting, the goddess like feeling when you tap into that oneness state of consciousness, the hieroglyphic patterns, the flowers that represent the beautiful floral and mandala patterns you see, the one thing that really stood out was the minecraft which at first seeing the video was very bizarre but while tripping and listening to this song everything turned very pixelated as if we were suddenly tossed into a world of minecraft.  ARTPOP has that mushroom shamanic world feel to it and at times very flower power under the sea vibe mixed with a very Atlantean/Mount Olympus type of vibe and has that opening the third eye mantra hypnotic trance state to it. Fashion has that groovy melody they used in the 70s now Mary Jane Holland thats the key to everything. You see in the lyrics it describes in perfect detail that she's experiencing a psychedelic trip and describes her experience in Amsterdam. Everybody thinks that this song is about marijuana cannabis which it can be because of course its also part of the psychedelic family but she's actually talking about mushrooms. "I don't like to boast but our Truffles are the most mad magical in Amsterdam" she isn't talking about having chocolate truffles for dessert see in Amsterdam there are these little things called Magic Truffles that are part of a mushroom plant that contain just like shrooms the psychoactive compounds psilocybin and psilocin, they are very popular and legal there and she did talk about her experience of tripping on these psychedelics while being there on her Howard Stern interview and that song is just like woah very alice in wonderland idk why these images of that caterpillar smoking from a hookah come to mind and those black and white lines that you just see everywhere as if somehow they are hidden also remind me of the cheshire cat, also the mushrooms Alice eats and many other things. Dope fees like the comedown of a trip. Applause and that whole theme to it I understand it very well now!!! The wizard of Ozz homage too. Now I'm not trying to condone the use of these substances to anyone because you need to have a strong mind for this experience because its very enlightening and you're perception of the world and everything you think you know will change and if you're not ready to experience that disassociation of ego and the material world then you are not ready to jump down the rabbit hole because these substances reveal you to the true nature of reality and the universe connecting to that source perspective of oneness like in the shamanic rituals that they do with ayahuasca. I feel like ARTPOP is like the modern Pink Floyd and its a shame that a lot of people don't see its true potential and think so low of it because its so magical it has a very vibrant energy and every time i felt sad it lifted my soul. Maybe some won't agree with me but she did say this and I quote "I made that album on the road, ARTPOP was you know the Acid-making record, and this record is like my old self as a cadaver, and I'm just operating on my old self.'

Donatella and Fashion are fun. The production of Applause too. I think that's all. :)

I suppose we all have our own opinions but I find the album fun, such as Venus, DWUW, applause, G.U.Y, fashion Donatella, MANiCURE, gypsy starts of slow then really breaks out into a fun tune! Suppose we see her albums differently. Dope is the darkest or swine for me.

I felt the same way, I was obsessed with ARTPOP and even more after I went to the artRAVE. But saying that, I did bore myself listening to it over and over and BTW became my favourite. Now I love ARTPOP again haha, I just love all of her music and could listen to it all day.

Yes! Right after I want to artRAVE I had this renewed obsession with ARTPOP haha. No matter what, ARTPOP will always be special to me because it was the first time I got to see her live in concert.

With The Fame the only song i never liked was Boys Boys Boys.

With TFM i liked them all :firega:

With Born This Way i never listened/liked to Americano or The Queen

With ARTPOP it was more like i never listened to Venus, ARTPOP, Fashion!, Dope, Swine, Sexxx Dreams, MANiCURE, Gypsy :creepflop:

So my favorite would probably be TFM (Deluxe) :derpga:

Only 2/3 songs stuck with me after the week ARTPOP came out tbh. I feel like thats how i judged it. It wasn't that great and no one around me (no ones paying attention to charts around me either may i add) liked it either. I think even when i listened to the album i skipped over songs.

There are honestly few songs that I don't listen too, and they are all from The Fame. Every song you listed you never listened too from ARTPOP are basically all of my favourites haha

1. Born This Way

2. Cheek to Cheek

3. The Fame Monster

4. ARTPOP

5. The Fame

I ain't sorry :classy: The Fame is basic, a few exceptions. I really liked ARTPOP but God, it sounds too noisy, and the production is dated 80% of the album. To be honest, all of her pop albums sound dated at some point, except for TFM. Cheek to Cheek has true vocals, and those amazing covers :nails:
