It's possible to have a breakdown chorus if done right, it has to be able to sustain itself and this one doesn't. Saying "Oops" followed by a very basic "yeah Clumsy" in the background is just so lazy... Is this song even ABOUT anything? The Bridge - Pre Chorus also sounded pretty bad. She's POP, she's fun, and she's corky, she's done practically every genre in the past 17 years of her career. So i'm wondering what sound are you expecting from her? Someone like Beyoncé would've slayed this. Honestly, I have no idea what people here think about Femme Fatale, but that album is a literal masterpiece compared to what we've heard from Glory so far. They're both completely different and make different music. Everything I've hear so far from Britney sounds INCREDIBLE and different from what she's done before. Since all the singles did great people jumped on the bandwagon. FF and Glory are completely different and it's obvious britney wants to try different things, she's not trying to redo FF or Blackout again and again. Like I said, no idea how people perceived the album when it was first released. I didn't belong to a pop form and I certainly didn't follow how well singles performed, I just knew that the songs were damn good. I give Britney props for trying different genres and giving us clean(er) vocals than we're used to from her. But so far, it's not working for me.
