I've been thinking this is how she's going to promote this new single for a while now, specifically because the VMAs are at MSG this year. From what I've seen in all the teasings and tidbits that are out there, it appears as if Gaga is going for a back to roots, organic kind of vibe on this new album. If that is the case, what better place to promote this new theme in the city where she was born and raised in, a city she has cited in all of her most prominent work? It just makes sense to me.
