She actually did for a very brief second lmao.

It was an okay performance, though.

I've gotta go find it on YouTube! XD

I have a prediction guys!! I think Karmin's song is gonna blow up big, and she might become huge. I am personally becoming a fan. She sings good, doesn't copy Gaga, and her rap is sick!!!

The performance you need to YouTube is the duet with Jessica Sanchez and Jennifer Holliday. OOOH LAWD that was hysterical!

Rollingstone thinks quite otherwise:

1 and a half stars out of 5.

Viral video-stars-turned-major-label recording artists Karmin (real-life couple Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan) have a great back-story. They also have one of the most aggressively obnoxious debut albums in recent memory. The Boston duo burst to prominence with peppy-precious electro covers of Lil Wayne and Chris Brown; for Hello they teamed with heavy-hitting songwriter-producers like Stargate. But the shtick is the same, as the pair retain a self-conscious "goofiness" that suggests the whole thing is a joke. Some of it is catchy – "Brokenhearted" has an irrefutable hook – but Heidemann’s daffiness and horrendous rapping spoil the broth every time. Karmin can make you hate pop music.

That's the thing with Rihanna. She is always OK, not amazing, etc.

Well I saw Rihanna on AI. She was much better than SNL. She was only pitchy in the beginning but then again her backing vocals for the chorus where she was extremely pitchy before were much louder this time. And you could tell because she stopped singing a few times and the voice didn't stop. And she didn't touch her cooch, she knew better! So she learnt from her mistakes but she still could never top Gaga.

Jessica deserved the win tbh.

Yeah I agree. I was mad because Phillip looks like he doesn't give a ****. It should have been Joshua and Jessica. But who cares, as Adam proves, no one cares who WINS idol

I always felt like Rihanna is Lady Gaga's biggest competitor, however she can't sell albums and just ****ed up her entire album era up until WHYB.

Well I think Rihanna is a product who does what she is told. As is Katy Perry and many of Gaga's other competitors. Sure Gaga has to follow some guidelines but I am pretty sure (or I wouldn't be a fan) that Gaga is in control of her music and that makes all the difference in the world.

I agree Lady Gaga is way above Rihanna's league talent wise, I just meant with global appeal and being able to at least kind of hold a note. :P
