Echo 326
Pound the Alarm and Whip it are too similar to Starships. They'll flop if released in succession. I think Va Va Voom would be the most appropriate choice to follow up Starships. They are both going to be singles. :bunnyy: We have Twitter confirmation from her. And it's the RedOne curse. :panic: That was going to be the first single but she didn't do it. But the video for VVV is already shot and ready to go. It's doing decent. #14 on pop and still gaining healthy spins. I wouldn't be surprised to see it enter the top 10. I love Karmin. Yeah, I hope it get's that #10 spot. That's all I need. :flutter:

Klou 2,414
I was going to use Lady Gaga as an example until I heard "not always" haha. But, I wouldn't mind that. It's so hard to put this order in time. :sam: Actually it was the same for Gaga. When the album was released You and I was selling the most followed by Marry The Night then Scheisse. TEOG was already the single when the album was released. Scheisse almost certainly would have been the single after MTN.
MANiCURE1295 8,673
Not gonna say I didn't think this but, I thought it was going to flop in March ehh it's catchy so I'm not surprised. It hasn't had amazing digital sales though has it? How much has it sold?

MANiCURE1295 8,673
Pound the Alarm and Whip It are both going to be hits but not have any longevity. I think Automatic could be a single as well.
Nick 29
I bet 75% of the tracks on PF;RR will become singles... I see the era lasting roughly two years.
MANiCURE1295 8,673
I bet 75% of the tracks on PF;RR will become singles... I see the era lasting roughly two years. Really...oh god I hope not. She doesn't have enough single worthy pop songs on there to sustain 2 years though.
Klou 2,414
I bet 75% of the tracks on PF;RR will become singles... I see the era lasting roughly two years. She uses Rihanna's strategy for success: Release as many singles and be featured on as many songs as possible.
Echo 326
Really? Smart tactic. And I know about the twitter confirmation regarding those two songs. Good, because they're two of the best songs on the album. I know... if she plays her cards right this era could be big! Pound the Alarm and Whip It are both going to be hits but not have any longevity. I beg to differ! She uses Rihanna's strategy for success: Release as many singles and be featured on as many songs as possible. She's the feature queen! I bet 75% of the tracks on PF;RR will become singles... I see the era lasting roughly two years. This. :nacho: Especially the way Starships is still holding strong.
Nick 29
Green = Extremely high likelihood of becoming a single Yellow = Possible future single Red = In all likelihood will not be a single Starships Pound the Alarm Whip It Automatic Beautiful Sinner Marilyn Monroe Young Forever Fire Burns Gun Shot Stupid Hoe Va Va Voom Masquerade Those are just the pop tracks. Bouncing between two formats, I think it's definitely feasible that the era could last two years.

Nick 29
I highly disagree on Marylin Monroe. I'd bet money on that one. I probably would too, but it's not guaranteed like PTA, WI, and VVV are ;)
Klou 2,414
I probably would too, but it's not guaranteed like PTA, WI, and VVV are ;) I personally prefer your choices, but it just seems like the public wants MM. Also, it would be a good pop song for the decline in Dance/Pop
